Model 500-0100XL PRO-Wedge XL DEMTECH Services, Inc.’s Wedge Welder is the new industry standard wedge welder for production welding of thicker HDPE geomembrane seams. We’ve integrated features and functionalities into its design to suit the needs of the most demanding welding technicians on the most demanding job sites, based on our many years of experience in the plastic welding sector.

Here are just a few of the new Pro-Wedge XL’s remarkable features:

• With a Wedge-It series 2000 welder, all common replacement parts are interchangeable, and the wedge assembly can be removed in 30 seconds! Downtime is kept to a minimum.
• External thermocouple and heater plug-in connector
• Heater/TC wires are protected from wear by a spring-loaded retaining disc. The control panel is hinged for quick access to electrical components.
• When the cover is opened, an automatic safety switch turns off the power to the control box.
• Voltage selection relay with auto-switching for 110/220V operation
